How much does luggage storage cost in Darwin?
Luggage storage is a flat rate of $8 per bag, per day with no size limits, weight penalties, or hidden surcharges. You can pay easily using card, cash, or tap-and-go when dropping off your items.
Where is Luggage Locker Darwin located?
We are located inside Winnellie Supermarket at Shop 13/347 Stuart Highway, Winnellie NT 0820. Our location is just 5–10 minutes from both Darwin International Airport and the Darwin CBD, with ample free parking right outside our front door.
What are your drop-off and collection hours?
We are open 7 days a week with convenient access:
- Monday – Saturday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
- Sunday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Public Holidays: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Do I need to book in advance?
No prior booking is necessary! You are welcome to walk in and drop off your bags anytime during opening hours. If you prefer to plan ahead or calculate multi-day totals, you can calculate your storage costs or reserve online here.
How secure is my stored luggage?
Your bags are completely safe. Every stored item is assigned a tamper-evident unique ID tag, logged into our secure digital registry, and kept in a locked, 24/7 monitored, staff-only storage area. You will immediately receive a digital confirmation and barcode receipt by email.
Can I leave bags overnight or for several days?
Yes. We offer flexible short-term and multi-day storage options for travelers heading to Kakadu, Litchfield, or multi-day tours. The flat rate remains just $8 per bag, per calendar day.
Can I store prams, boxes, backpacks, and bulky gear?
Yes! In addition to standard suitcases, we store prams, strollers, large backpacks, sealed boxes, and outdoor travel gear, as long as items do not contain hazardous or perishable goods.
