Luggage Locker – Terms and Conditions

By booking or using the Luggage Locker staffed baggage-storage service, you agree to the following terms:

1. Maximum Liability

   Luggage Locker takes reasonable care when accepting, storing and returning your belongings. To the extent permitted by law, the maximum liability for loss of or damage to luggage accepted under a single booking is limited to $250 AUD per booking. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Storage Duration and Uncollected Items

   Luggage must be collected by the booked pick-up date and during the location's operating hours. If luggage remains uncollected for more than 2 days (48 hours) after the booked storage period ends, it may be treated as abandoned. Luggage Locker may move or store the luggage elsewhere, open it where reasonably necessary for identification or safety, and deal with it in accordance with applicable law. Reasonable additional storage and handling costs may be charged.

3. Prohibited Items

   You must not store cash, jewellery, electronics valued over $250 AUD, perishable goods, hazardous or flammable materials, illegal substances, or items that could damage other luggage, the premises or surrounding property. Luggage Locker accepts no responsibility for prohibited items stored in breach of this policy.

4. Collection and Security

   Luggage can be dropped off and collected only during the location's designated operating hours. The storage area is managed by staff. You are responsible for keeping your booking confirmation, collection code and any collection card or tag details secure and for telling staff promptly if they are lost, copied or shared.

5. Identification

   You may be required to show identification, your collection code or other proof of booking before luggage is released. Luggage Locker may refuse or delay release until staff are reasonably satisfied that the person collecting the luggage is authorised to do so.

6. Extensions and Additional Charges

   If you extend your pick-up date after your luggage has been checked in, additional storage charges will apply at the rate recorded on your booking. Any outstanding extension charges must be paid before the luggage is released.

7. Agreement to Terms

   By making a booking or leaving luggage with Luggage Locker, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
